The EU approach to Cybersecurity

We will describe the current attempts by the European Union to enhance the state of cyber security in Europe. Examples include sensible processes such as the reform of the ENISA agency, contested policy-making such as the new cybercrime directive, but also fun stuff like the virtual schengen border proposed a year ago. The overview will be combined with illustrating anecdotes from the life in Brussels, including a private meeting with Home Affairs Commissioner Malmström and a job offer from Europol.
