Samantha is an astronaut, pilot, aerospace engineer. She was selected in 2009 to become an astronaut for the European Space Agency (ESA). After successfully finishing her basic training at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, she is now training for future missions in Houston and Star City, near Moscow.
